90-Day Warranty
Gerstco software products come with a 90-day Warranty effective upon installation of the software. Hotline access is provided via telephone or email during normal PST business hours. The warranty also includes any software changes that occur and means that no support fees will be incurred during this period. Continued Software and Technical Support are covered under Gerstco's Software Maintenance Program.
 
Training
Our Software Training Program is designed to flexibly respond to the specific training needs of each customer. AAPBase contains sophisticated yet very clear reporting tools that can achieve economies when the user is fully aware of the features and functionalities available.
 
Training courses are designed to ensure software proficiency at the end of the class. Gerstco recommends software training for all licensed users of its software products prior to installation.
 
Whenever possible, attendees are trained using their own company's workforce data. This provides a real-world environment, which can be expanded to include a deliverable target of the affirmative action reporting for one of the customer's AAP sites. Training is offered via Web Ex or at Gerstco's facility located in Cupertino, CA. Customization and onsite training can be negotiated separately.
 
We recommend that attendees of the Software Training Program have an HR generalist's understanding of equal employment and affirmative action laws and regulations. Gerstco provides AAP Training at least twice a year.
 
Software training is segmented into New User and Continuing User courses. Segmentation allows instructors to focus and meet the expectations of the attendees. The New User course is attended by the valid user(s) of companies following the initial licensing of the software.
 
Training is an important element of our customer support. The training can be conducted using your company's own data to create a real life training environment.
 
Technical Service & Support
A Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) is advised after the 90-day warranty is over, to provide users with uninterrupted service, software revisions and assurance that if federal regulations change, we will revise software immediately and send revisions out to all SMA customers. The SMA is an annual subscription service that may be activated any time during the first year.
 
Gerstco provides Hotline support via telephone, email and web assistance during regular business hours Monday through Friday and excludes Holidays. In addition, a Bulletin is issued regularly to communicate best practices and software solutions to known problems.
