Robust Software Platform
AAPBase is built on a robust Foxpro platform making this software highly flexible and scalable to accommodate companies ranging form small, single AAP sites to large, multi-site, multi-state firms. The relational database management feature is meant to save time and provide accuracy of data. Changes or revisions to data are immediately recognized and changes relayed to every applicable record. For example, if a job title is added, deleted, or modified, this action will affect every relevant record in the database, and, if the headcount changes, every report displaying these workforce numbers will reflect these changes. This robust software also provides historical tracking of workforce and employment tracking for affirmative action reporting. APPBase Software enables you to generate AAP's, EO Surveys, EEO-1, Vets reports and more, for a single or multiple site program, or by department, with one database system.
Window-based Environment
AAPBase is a Windows-based, menu-driven program. The software follows familiar Windows procedures and protocols and offers flexibility and rollup features. The menu tabs
are designed to follow the AAP Development Process:

Single or Multi-User Access
AAPBase was designed so that the same company data cannot be worked on at the same time. This was done to protect a company's confidentiality and data integrity. However, multiple users can open and view the same files simultaneously.
Installation Options
AAPBase can be installed on a Server, Local Area Network (LAN) or Wide Area Network (WAN).
Standard File Formats
Setting up your data for import is easy. More than 20 formats including MS Excel and ASCII can be used. Download this file for more details about file format requirements.
Error Checking
Ensuring that all data necessary for AAP development is complete and mapped correctly is a critical step in the process. After import, AAPBase compares the data entered to a required data list. If elements are missing, it is highlighted to the user. Also, if there is any question about the mapping of the data to the correct field, it is presented in a list along with a direct way to access the data in question and apply a remedy.
Online Help
Access the online Help system through the drop down menu or by pressing F1 at any time on any form. The Help dialog box appears in the upper left portion of the screen. The box is split into two sections: the left quarter of the screen contains the Help topic listing, while the remainder of the box contains Help narratives and explanations.
Large System Capacity
Each AAPBase database can support an organization of 1.4 million employees while retaining a five-year funning history of all activities. This will increase to 2.3 million if a more typical three-year running history is kept. The number of sites, departments, job titles, etc. is virtually unlimited.
Industry Standard System Security
Upon installation, AAPBase's security system requires the establishment of authorized users, their roles and privilege levels.
